Project Description

Full overhaul of accounting system, including implementation of new business intelligence system, reorganization of chart of accounts, and implementation of automation for purchase orders and requisitions. Chart of accounts revision allowed for project and profit center analysis that had previously been impossible. As a former CFO and finance focused CEO, McDonald has set up finance accounting systems from scratch for Conner Prairie, Cincinnati Museum Center, and Alamo Trust (the Alamo). Also as the City Council Finance Chair for 12 years in Noblesville, Indiana; McDonald understands governmental fund accounting. He also served as the Finance Committee Chair for many years on the Wilmington College Board of Trustees.
